About

Sarah Brown | Session Musician

Sarah is a young and upcoming musician that specialises in the world of brass, based in the city of Glasgow.

Raised in Fife, Sarah joined the music scene at age 10, by starting to learn her speciality instrument, the tenor horn. At age 12, she had integrated into both wind and brass bands, where Sarah went on to play publicly for her local community. Most memorably, she performed Christmas Carols and for the Remembrance Service.

After a few years of accompanying, Sarah was interested in branching out and performing as a soloist. She picked up the trumpet and took time to learn solo songs on both instruments. This lead her to achieve a Grade 6 standard on the Tenor Horn in 2017.

To continue her music career, Sarah recently moved to Glasgow. Since moving, the highlight of her career is her performance in the wind section, accompanying 1977 hits at the Classic Grand.
